1" Single-Thick Natural Bristle Chip Brush – 3/8" Thick

Our Single-Thick Chip Brushes (3/8" Thick) are versatile, economical brushes designed for fiberglass work, resin application, painting, coating, bonding, and general-purpose shop use. The single-thick 3/8" brush profile provides a lightweight, easy-to-control brush that works especially well when spreading materials evenly without loading the brush with excessive product.

These brushes are an excellent choice for epoxy resin, polyester resin, vinyl ester resin, gelcoat, fiberglass laminating resin, adhesives, paints, stains, varnishes, and other coatings. They are particularly useful for wetting out fiberglass, brushing resin into corners and detailed areas, applying adhesives, touch-up work, and other applications where an inexpensive disposable brush is preferred.

Each brush features natural bristles secured by a metal ferrule and an unfinished wooden handle for a simple, comfortable grip. Because they're economical, chip brushes are particularly convenient when working with catalyzed or two-component materials such as epoxy and polyester resin, where cleaning a reusable brush may not be practical.
