        Marine Clear UV Gelcoat (No Wax) is a premium NPG-Isophthalic polyester gelcoat designed for marine and composite applications requiring a durable, crystal-clear finish. This unwaxed  gelcoat provides excellent UV, weather, water, and corrosion resistance, making it ideal for building up multiple coats before applying a final waxed finish coat. MEKP catalyst required (sold separately or available as an option).

        Marine Clear Gelcoat (No Wax)

        Our Marine Clear Gelcoat (No Wax) is a high-quality NPG-Isophthalic polyester gelcoat formulated for superior performance in marine, fiberglass, and composite applications. Designed to deliver exceptional clarity and long-lasting durability, this gelcoat offers excellent resistance to UV exposure, weathering, moisture, and corrosion while protecting fiberglass laminates from the elements. The marine formulation is engineered for enhanced UV stability and outdoor performance. 

        Because this is a non-waxed  gelcoat, the surface remains tacky after curing. This allows additional layers of gelcoat or fiberglass laminate to chemically bond without sanding between coats. For the final coat, wax additive (or a waxed gelcoat) should be used to allow the surface to cure completely.

        For best clarity and performance, apply in temperatures above 70°F at approximately 18–22 mils total film thickness. Applying the material too thick may create a slight amber tint, while applying it too thin may affect curing performance.
