Mirka WPF Pro 9" × 11" Plain Sheets are professional-grade waterproof silicon carbide sanding sheets designed for smooth, efficient wet sanding. The curl-resistant, non-absorbent C-weight latex paper backing provides excellent durability and controlled sanding, while the aggressive silicon carbide abrasive delivers consistent cutting performance on paint, primer, filler, lacquer, plastics, non-ferrous metals and composite materials.
Mirka WPF Pro 9" × 11" Plain Sheets are high-quality waterproof abrasives engineered for professional manual wet-sanding applications. Designed to provide a lasting aggressive cut while maintaining smooth sanding action, WPF Pro is an excellent choice for automotive refinishing, marine and fiberglass work, composite fabrication, paint preparation and general surface finishing.
Each sheet features a silicon carbide abrasive grain bonded with a resin-over-resin system to a durable C-weight latex paper backing. The closed-coat construction provides consistent abrasive coverage across the sheet for uniform sanding performance. Mirka specifically designed the backing to be waterproof, non-absorbent and curl resistant, allowing the abrasive to maintain its shape and performance during wet sanding.
Another advantage of WPF Pro is its low tendency to stick or suction itself to the work surface when wet. Mirka states that the minimal suction provides a smoother sanding movement, helping the operator maintain better control while working across the surface.
The full-size 9" × 11" plain sheet can be used as supplied or cut and folded as needed for hand sanding and sanding-block applications. WPF Pro is suitable for sanding primers, paints, lacquers, body fillers, plaster/filler, plastics and non-ferrous metals, and Mirka also specifically recommends WPF Pro for manual wet sanding of composite materials.
With grit options ranging from P60 through P3000, WPF Pro can cover everything from aggressive material removal and surface preparation to fine wet sanding and preparation for polishing.
