Partall® Film #10 Clear Quart

Partall® Film #10 Clear is a professional-grade PVA (polyvinyl alcohol) mold release film designed to provide dependable part release in fiberglass and composite manufacturing. This ready-to-use, water/alcohol-based coating dries to form a thin, continuous film that prevents polyester and epoxy resin systems from bonding to mold surfaces, making demolding easier while helping preserve the finish of valuable molds.

Partall® Film #10 is commonly used as a secondary release system over mold release waxes when producing fiberglass parts, plugs, molds, and prototypes. It is especially useful for new molds, repaired molds, or complex parts where additional release insurance is desired. Once the part has been removed, the dried PVA film can be washed away with water, leaving the mold ready for cleaning and reapplication.

The coating can be applied by HVLP spray gun, conventional spray equipment, brush, or sponge, producing a smooth, uniform film that dries quickly under normal shop conditions. Note: For best results, apply to a properly prepared mold surface using light, even coats. Allow the film to dry completely before laminating. After demolding, the PVA film can be removed with water prior to preparing the mold for the next use.
