RAKA Slow Cure Hardener is a premium epoxy curing agent formulated specifically for use with RAKA 127 Thin (Low Viscosity) Epoxy Resin. The slow-curing formula provides an extended pot life, giving users more time to accurately position fiberglass cloth, eliminate air bubbles, and thoroughly wet out reinforcement materials before the epoxy begins to cure. It is an excellent choice for boat building, marine repairs, wood bonding, composite fabrication, encapsulation, and other projects where a longer working time is essential.

When combined with RAKA 127 Resin, the system creates a high-strength, moisture-resistant epoxy with outstanding adhesion to wood, fiberglass, carbon fiber, and many composite materials. The resin's low viscosity promotes deep penetration into porous surfaces while making fiberglass wet-out easier and helping achieve lightweight, void-free laminates.

The extended working time is especially beneficial for laminating large panels, coating wood surfaces, filleting joints, and completing complex repairs without the pressure of a fast-setting epoxy. Once cured, the epoxy develops excellent mechanical strength, water resistance, and long-term durability suitable for demanding marine and structural applications.
