RAKA UV Resistant Epoxy Resin Kit is a high-performance, UV-inhibited epoxy system engineered to produce a crystal-clear finish while delivering exceptional strength, adhesion, and long-lasting durability. The system consists of a blue-tinted Part A resin and a yellow-tinted Part B hardener. As the two components are thoroughly mixed, the color disappears, creating a clear, transparent epoxy. This unique color-change feature makes it easy to visually confirm that the resin and hardener have been mixed completely, helping reduce mixing errors and ensuring consistent curing.

Designed for a wide variety of applications, RAKA UV Resistant Epoxy is ideal for boat building, marine repairs, woodworking, composite fabrication, fiberglass laminating, carbon fiber layups, encapsulation, bonding, and clear coating. The low-viscosity formula provides excellent wet-out of fiberglass and reinforcement fabrics while penetrating wood for strong, durable bonds.

To accommodate different projects and working conditions, the system is available with two hardener options:

• Fast Hardener – Approximately 10-minute pot life, ideal for cooler temperatures, small repairs, and projects requiring a quicker cure.
• Slow Hardener – Approximately 20-minute pot life, providing additional working time for larger laminations, complex assemblies, and warmer environments.

Once cured, the epoxy forms a clear, moisture-resistant, high-strength bond with excellent adhesion to wood, fiberglass, carbon fiber, and many composite materials. Its UV-inhibited formulation helps maintain clarity longer than standard epoxies, making it an excellent choice for applications where appearance is just as important as performance.
