        Sikaflex®-295 UV Marine Adhesive & Sealant is a professional-grade, one-component polyurethane adhesive specifically developed for bonding and sealing plastic glazing materials in marine applications. It is particularly well suited for installing polycarbonate and acrylic (PMMA) windows, hatches, portlights, and other plastic glazing components on boats and yachts.

        A major advantage of Sikaflex®-295 UV is its excellent resistance to UV exposure and weathering. Marine glazing is frequently exposed to intense sunlight, moisture, temperature changes, vibration, and movement. Sikaflex®-295 UV cures to form a strong yet elastic bond that accommodates movement between the glazing and surrounding structure while maintaining a durable seal.

        Its flexible properties make it particularly useful when bonding materials with different rates of thermal expansion, such as plastic glazing to fiberglass or other marine construction materials. The cured adhesive helps absorb vibration and movement rather than creating an excessively rigid connection.

        Sikaflex®-295 UV can be used in new boat construction, restoration, maintenance, and replacement glazing projects. Proper substrate preparation and the appropriate Sika pretreatment or primer system should be used according to Sika's current application guidelines, particularly when working with sensitive plastic glazing materials.
