Fiberglass Supply Depot Premium Vinylester Resin is a premium 100% Bisphenol-A epoxy-based vinylester laminating resin designed for demanding fiberglass applications requiring exceptional chemical resistance, superior strength, and long-term durability. It bridges the gap between traditional polyester resin and epoxy by combining excellent workability with outstanding structural performance.

This vinylester resin offers excellent resistance to acids, alkalis, moisture, and many corrosive chemicals, making it an outstanding choice for marine environments, industrial fabrication, and corrosion-resistant composite structures. Its superior wet-out characteristics allow fiberglass cloth, biaxial fabric, woven roving, and chopped strand mat to saturate quickly while producing strong, lightweight laminates with excellent mechanical properties. 

The resin features reliable gel times for consistent processing and produces laminates with excellent tensile strength, flexural strength, impact resistance, and environmental durability. It is widely used anywhere long service life and resistance to water intrusion or harsh chemicals are required. The resin also complies with FDA 21 CFR 177.2420 requirements for appropriate food-contact resin applications and carries DNV approval for marine applications, making it suitable for many commercial and recreational composite projects.

Catalyst Information

This resin is designed for use with MEKP catalyst. Catalyst percentage should be adjusted according to ambient temperature and desired working time. Always follow the recommended catalyst ratios and safe handling procedures for optimal curing and performance. 

Storage

For maximum shelf life and performance, store resin indoors below 77°F (25°C) in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight and sources of heat or ignition. Keep containers tightly sealed and rotate inventory using a first-in, first-out (FIFO) system.
